The Worst Suits of 2015

The end of the year is upon us and we’ve scoured red carpets everywhere to bring you the worst suits of 2015. At the ESPYs, Grammys, Emmys and Oscars, there were enough fashion atrocities to scare you out of your pants. And shirts. And blazers. And ties…

1. Alan Cumming

We aren’t sure what Actor Alan Cumming or his tailor were thinking with this suit. The top half has a classic feel, but the overdone baggy pants ruin the look. (Source)

2. Bobby Valentino

Singer Bobby Valentino is known for his smooth voice and lyrics, but this tunic-styled ensemble he wore to the 2015 BET Awards made all of the wrong charts. One Twitter user noted that he looks like a Mighty Morphin Power Ranger. That may be too harsh on the Power Rangers. On the other hand, those boots are pretty sweet. (Source)

3. Peyton Manning

float: left; margin: 10px 15px 10px 15px;Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning is sometimes criticized for staying in the game after he should have retired. This suit does nothing to quiet those critics. The used car salesman pattern, color scheme and cut of this ensemble belong on NFL highlight films from the playing days of Manning’s father. 4. Jared Leto

Actor Jared Leto may have been preparing for his upcoming role as the psychopathic Joker in “Suicide Squad” when he decided to go with this eye-piercing white ensemble for the 2015 Oscars. It is just too white. The only thing setting off the suit is Leto’s hair which is no substitute for color. Even a few tiny accents (off-color lapels, a jazzy handkerchief and tie) could have saved the suit from making this list. (Source)

5. LL Cool J

Rapper, actor and music pioneer LL Cool J wore this really blue tuxedo with really long sleeves to the 2015 Grammys. The suit’s color scheme is on trend, but the cut and fit are all wrong.  Those shoulders, sleeves and baggy pants look juvenile and don’t do justice to the man’s legacy as a performer and entrepreneur. 6. Nick Jonas

This monstrosity masking as a suit barely stretched over the simian frame of boy-band heartthrob Nick Jonas. Ugly white shoes, an odd white shirt and the fabric pattern from your grandmother’s old sofa combined to form this horrendous affront to the human eye. The teenage fangirls were no doubt screaming at the sight of him on the red carpet, but for different reasons than before. (Source)

7. Brian Baumgartner

Frumpy doesn’t even begin to describe this insult to fashion worn at the 2015 Emmy’s. Brian would have been better off wearing jeans and a t-shirt to compliment his Green Bay Packer’s cap than wearing this ill-fitting, out of style ensemble. (Source)

Don’t be caught on the red carpet or your office looking like one of these guys in 2016. Going custom insures the perfect fit and will makes heads turn for all the right reasons. Happy New Year!
